The UQAAB offers an innovative solution that delivers highest level protection and restores tactical mobility with the cost in mind, it is built on a heavy duty chassis, powered by 381 horsepower, 5.7 L V8 engine, 6 speed automatic gear transmission, a 2 piece shaft and massive 10.5 inch ring gear to handle massive torque.
The UQAAB relies upon 10mm thick armor plates to provide CEN B7/ STANG II level 2b protection from five sides. The vehicle has a high ground clearance which increases protection from mine and IED blasts, it can withstand up to 6kg of mine explosive under its hull.
The rotating turret system can be mounted to the roof and it can be equipped with a variety of weapon systems, such as machine guns, grenade launchers, and remote weapon stations. This provides added firepower while keeping operators protected inside the vehicle.
This chart is designed to simplify the understanding of protection levels set by the European Committee for Standardization. It outlines the CEN EN 1063 and EN 1522/1523 ballistic standards for bullet-resistant material performance.
