Polyurea Coating For Blast Mitigation

Polyurea Coating For Blast Mitigation

Polyurea is a two-component, spray-applied elastomer formed by the reaction of an isocyanate component and a resin blend. These properties make it ideal for absorbing dynamic loads, especially from blast and impact scenarios.

High Elongation

Description: Up to 600–800% elongation at break, providing extreme flexibility under stress.

Fast Cure Time

Description: Sets in seconds and can be walked on within minutes, ensuring quick deployment.

High Strength

Description: Tear resistance of 75–150 N/mm and tensile strength of 15–40 MPa.

Thermal Resistance

Description: Remains stable and effective in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 150°C.

  • Available in Shore hardness ranging from A85 to D50 for various applications.
  • Spray-applied coating that creates a continuous, protective barrier.
